1. Summer Schedule.. Summer Expecations...OTA's
2. Team Shop - TBA - Required Items..compression game shirt, shorts, socks.  For washing purposes, we reccomend getting two sets.

5. Team moms for each class, would like to have 2 for each.

7. Pre game meal will cost $10/week.  The total will be $110 for the season. The deadline is August 15th, please make checks payable to WJHS Football
8. Each family is expected to donate 2 cases of gatorade (20oz) and 2 cases of water.  This is a Wildcat tradition, you can start bringing these items in as soon as possible.
9. We need parent volunteers to supply gatorades to our JV and Varsity teams post game, plan for 2-3 cases
10. Football Family yard sale - July 12, 1a-12p, location TBD - Contact Sandi Banfalvy for more information
11. Car Wash - June 7th, 7:30a-11:30a - Our goal is to make $5000 (60 players at 10 tickets each = $6000)
12. Must find a way to feed 4 teams in our scrimmage (Corinth/West/Cape Fear/Wakefield)
13. Fertilizer donations

Dear Players and Families,

Welcome to the WILDCAT FOOTBALL FAMILY! The entire staff is very excited aout the upcoming season.  I have high expectations for both our returning players and our new prospects from the middle schools.  Summer football is a time of work and preparation.  It is where games are won before they are even played.  It is part of the foundation of success for our program.  At West Johnston, we believe that when you are GOOD... you are GOOD ALL THE TIME! This means that we expect tremendous participation and communnication in our summer workouts.  Strength and Conditioning are key to our success and you can't get better if you are not here during the summer.

The calendar is posted on this website that has the entire summer schedule for you to follow.  If you have a ride problem or other issue that would stop you from being at practice, WE EXPECT YOU TO CALL THE OFFICE AND EMAIL COACH WILLIAMS TO LET THE STAFF KNOW THAT YOU WILL BE MISSING PRACTICE!  If you do not follow this rule, it will be a problem that I do not understand.  We do not accept excuses! We expect you to be here as much as absolutely possible.  WHEN YOU PREPARE TO WIN... YOU PREPARE TO WIN ALL THE TIME! Please try to take family trips and vacations during our off weeks whenever it is possible to do so.

Please make every effort to be a part of our WILDCAT OTA's 2014 (Organized Team Activities).  This event will take place on July 14-16.  It will be a valuable learning experience and a time to bond with teammates as well as get three days of intense coaching.  We are expecting at or near 100% commitment to the new TRADITION of OTA's.

Please check this website frequently, as it will have new information constantly, and will keep you updated on all things that are WILDCAT FOOTBALL!

A BIG THANK YOU to all of the parents and players that attended our spring meeting last night. A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to those who were led to lead the charge in our effort to raise the money to buy new uniforms for our WILDCAT players. We are are well on our way to reaching this 6000 dollar goal within the next two weeks but we still have much work left so please reach out to friends, church members and extended framily to help us reach our goal. Please continue to follow the website several times a week as we will have much info for the summer months. Soon you will know the schedule and deadline to pay for pre game meals so that you can make the neccesary arrangements for your child. The Varsity will have 10 games with a cost of 70.00 dollars and the JV will play 11 games at a cost of 77.00 dollars. We will adjust as need be for playoff games. Also, don't forget to start buying your 2 cases of gatorade and 2 cases of water to donate to the program for all of our young men.

START PREPARING FOR THE FOOTBALL FAMILY YARD SALE ON JUNE 29. THE SITE IS TBD. I HOPE THIS WILL BE A GREAT EVENT FOR US AND ONE THAT WE CAN DO ON A YEARLY BASIS.

Welcome to the WILDCAT FAMILY! The entire football staff is very excited about the season that is before us as well as the future of WILDCAT football! I have high expectations for our returning football players as well as the new prospects from the Midde Schools.  Summer football is a time of work and preparation.  It is where we begin to build the foundation for a successful program.  I believe that when you are GOOD.. you are GOOD ALL THE TIME! This means that we must have tremendous participation in our summer workouts. Strength training and conditioning are keys to our success and you can't get stronger if you are not here.

The summer shedule is posted on the calendar.  If you have a ride problem or other issue that would stop you from being at practice, we expect you to call the football office and the staff know that you will not be there.  Our summer commitment will determine the success that we will be abale to achieve in the fall.  We do not accept excuses!!! We expect you to be here as much as absolutely possible.  WHEN YOU WIN... YOU WIN ALL THE TIME!!!
